He is a Professor of Geography with specialization in Development Geography, Rural Development and Agricultural Geography. Owing to interconnected nature of Geography, he has acquired proficiency in teaching, research and graduate supervision in Population and Demographic Studies and Environmental Management. He has published several scholarly articles in reputable journals and texts at local and international levels. He has equally attended several conferences.
