Dr Emmanuel Nda Zubairu Joined the service of Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Kaduna in 1996, he holds a Ph.D. in Geography (Environmental Management) from Nigerian Defence Academy (2018), Masters in Environmental Management from Bayero University Kano (2007), Post Graduate Diploma also from Bayero University Kano (2002) and HND in Mining Engineering from Kaduna Polytechnic in (1993). He is a Chief Technologist in the Department of Geography, Nigerian Defence Academy Kaduna since 2012. His area of specialization is Physical Geography which includes Field and Laboratory Demonstration/Practical and analysis as well as classroom teachings of some Physical Geography courses. His research efforts are directed at Environmental Issues; majorly in area of Flooding, Waste Management and Weather-related matters. Dr Zubairu has attended Trainings, conferences at local and national levels. Dr Zubairu has been involved in teaching and research in the Department. He has discussed several papers and supervised two M.Sc. Dissertations and some undergraduate projects to successful completion. He held some posts at the Departmental level, amongst them are Officer in-charge of Green Garden (2019 – 2021) , Physical Laboratory and Meteorological Station (1999 – 2021), Postgraduate Registration Officer (2010 – 2021), Postgraduate Coordinating Team (2010 – 2021), Member, Postgraduate Result Computation Team (2015 – 2021), Member, Departmental Committee on National Universities Commission Accreditation (2008/2009, 2018/2019 session), Member, Committee for consideration of Postgraduate Admission (2010 – 2012), Secretary/Treasurer, Departmental Welfare Committee (2011 – 2021), At the Academy level; Member, Senior Non-Teaching Staff Appraisal Coordinating Committee (2020). Dr Zubairu is married with children.
