Associate Professor Oluwadare is a retired Infantry Colonel of the Nigerian Army. He was a member of the 26th Regular Course of the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna. He obtained his PhD in History and Strategic Studies from University of Lagos. He also obtained M.Sc. in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from National Open University and Master in International Relations and Strategic Studies (MIRSS) from Lagos State University. He obtained B.Sc. in Political Science and Public Administration from University of Uyo. Presently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Political Science, Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna.Prior to joining NDA, Dr Oluwadare started his academic career in the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) where he held various appointments including the pioneer Head of Department of Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution, Ag Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Science, Chairman Organising Committee of the First Public Lecture of the Faculty of Social Science (FASS). He was a member of the Editorial Board of the NOUN Journal of Social Sciences. He was also member of Course Material Review Committee in the FASS.

At NDA, Associate Professor Oluwadare is a dedicated lecturer and committed to teaching. He is a member of Curricular Review Committee. He has anchored various courses in the Department of Political Science and supervised final year students up to PhD level.
