Solomon Bolarinwa Ayodele is an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Biological Sciences, Nigerian Defence Academy. His research interest centers around public health and parasitology. Solomon obtained a masters degree in Biology from the Ahmadu Bello University, where he assessed the antibacterial potentials of extracts from selected plants. For his undergraduate project, Solomon analyzed the serum biochemicals of HBV and HIV-infected pregnant women attending the General Hospital, Minna, Niger State. Some aspects of this research were published in the Annals of Nigerian Medicine. He has proposed to research on one of Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) for his PhD.
Before his appointment at the NDA, Solomon taught students at the elementary and secondary levels for about 12 years. He has several awards and recognition which includes the All-round best 100-level-student of the Department of Biological Sciences, ABU, Zaria and the 2014/2015 Staff-of-the-Year award at Darul-Huda Foundation School, Kaduna.
