Rakiya Jafaru is an assiduous and highly meticulous individual with 6 years professional experience in both the NGO sector and Academia. She is currently a Graduate assistant at the Biological Science department of Nigerian Defence Academy. She has a BSc in Biological Science from Kwararafa University Wukari and currently rounding up an MSc in Biological Science with a major in Parasitology. Her experience include Working as: Programme assistant (volunteer) at FHI360/ARFH in 2018, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at Save the Children International from 2018-2019 and Programme Assistant at Society for family Health In 2019.
Her specialisation is in infection biology with focus on Parasitology, immunology, and Bioinformatics. She has published two papers and iscurrently working on a third. Her hobbies include praying, reading and travelling.
