Prof T Nyor is the pioneer and present Head of the Department of Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Though a Professor of Accounting, his interdisciplinary skills made it possible for him to pioneer the Department of Logistics and Supply Chain Management since 2018. Before this time, he was Head of the Department of Accounting and Management for two consecutive terms from 2013 to 2017. A member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), he is a practicing Company Secretary, a Tax Consultant, Management Consultant, Accounting System Designer, Auditor, and Researcher.  He holds BSc in Accounting from Bayero University Kano (1989), MSc in Accounting also from Bayero University Kano (2008), and PhD. Accounting from the Nigerian Defence Academy (2011).

As a Lecturer, spanning for a period of over twenty (20) years. Prof Nyor has taught at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels. At the postgraduate level, he has lectured in the Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting, Postgraduate Diploma in Management, Masters in Business Administration, Masters in Financial Economics, Masters in Security Management, Masters in Disaster and Risk Management, Masters in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, MSc Accounting and PhD. Accounting Classes till date. He has also delivered lectures and seminars at different training workshops over the years. He has over thirty (30) publications to his credit, in both national and international journals. Prof Nyor has been a Visiting Professor, External Examiner, and a member of the NUC and MBTE Accreditation Teams to some Nigerian Tertiary Institutions. His hobbies include traveling, watching football, and swimming.
