Mrs Latifat Abdulsalam Abdulfatah is a member of the Department Of Accounting of the Faculty of Management Sciences, Nigerian Defence Academy Kaduna. She is currently undergoing her PhD degree program at the Post Graduate School of the great institution. Mrs Abdulsalam holds an MSc degree from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Kaduna, Nigeria having bagged her BSc Accounting and Finance degree from the same institution. Mrs Abdulsalam is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
Born to the family of Alhaji Abdulfatah Olayiwola on the 11th day of February 1979 in Kaduna South, Kaduna State, Nigeria, Mrs Abdulsalam hails from Offa, Offa local government area of Kwara State, Nigeria. Mrs Abdulsalam had her early primary school education at the 44 Commilla Barracks Primary School in Kaduna before proceeding to Labayi International School Kaduna, 1993 to 1994, and Supreme International School, Kaduna, 1994 to 1996 for her secondary school education.
She joined the Nigerian Defence Academy as a Graduate Assistant in the defunct Department of Accounting and Management of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences in July 2018 and was upgraded in August of the same year to an Assistant Lecturer in the same department. Mrs Abdulsalam currently teaches at the undergraduate level of the Nigerian Defence Academy and she has taught at all levels apart from 100 level of this esteemed institution. She is also the level adviser of 200 level cadets.
Mrs Abdulsalam is the widow of late Lt Col H.O. Salami, a fallen hero who passed on in active service to this great nation along Haulari, Bama Road in December 2015. She loves reading and relaxing with family during her leisure time.
