PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

Teaching and Research with specialization in Accounting and Finance

Taught and still teaching some of the following courses at undergraduate level: Research Methodology, Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Taxation and Fiscal Policy, Management Accounting, International Accounting, Financial Management, Oil & Gas Accounting, Company Law, Commercial Law, Law and Accounts of Bankruptcy, Executorship and Trust, Business Mathematics, Public Sector Accounting. At the postgraduate level, taught and still teaching some of the following courses: MSc (International Accounting and Research Methodology), Professional Masters (Financial Accounting, International Business, Research Methodology, Organizational Behavior and Compensation), Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting and Finance and Postgraduate Diploma in Management (Taxation, Principles of Finance and Financial Management)

In the course of my career in the Academy, I have taught, supervised and graduated over 40 Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) students, more than 25 Post-Graduate Diploma in Accounting and Finance (PGDAF) students and over 100 Officer Cadets. Am currently supervising students at MSC, Postgraduate Diploma and Under-Graduate levels.  Served as the Departmental Examination Officer and Member Academy Examination Committee from 2012 to 2017, Coordinator Postgraduate Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Currently, the Departmental Quality Assurance Representative and Assistant Coordinator M Phil Management programme. Received Certificate of Commendation in Recognition of Devotion to Duty from National Youth Service Corps Ogun State 2000, Letter of commendation for voluntary participation in Prep Supervision during the first-semester examination 2012/13 Session from the office of the Academy Provost, Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna, 2013. I have been involved in rendering various services to humanity, the nation and the immediate community.

SPECIALIZATION

Specialized in Financial Accounting which is the core area of accounting as a field of study. Have a special interest in financial information reporting which is the primary aim of accounting in general as well as in finance, Taxation, Public Sector Accounting, International Accounting and Research Methodology.
