Commandant Commissions New Accommodation Projects
The Commandant NDA, Maj Gen Jamil Sarham, has commissioned some newly – constructed accommodation units both at the Ribadu and Afaka campuses of the Academy.
During the short commissioning ceremony held at both campuses respectively, Maj Gen Sarham, while handing over keys to apartments to some beneficiaries of the projects, charged the beneficiaries to ensure proper maintenance of the facilities. “Ensure you beautify the environment around your accommodation so that whoever comes around will respect you”, he told the recipients.
The Commandant further used the occasion to reminded the Academy community to ensure that they comply strictly with all the safety procedures from the Federal Ministry of Health and the NCDC on containing the Covid-19 pandemic. He added that it was the responsibility of everyone to work with the authorities towards curbing the spread of the virus.
Some of the projects commissioned include 36 studio apartments, as well as Candidates Quarters and Dining Hall at the Ribadu Campus, while Master Warrant Officers Quarters and Staff Sergeants Quarters were commissioned for use at Afaka.
