CDRE DAVID DUNG NABAIDA (rtd) is a Lecturer 1 with the Department of Chemistry. He holds an M.Phil in Environmental Management. He is also a Member of the following associations: Chemical Society of Nigeria [CSN], Environmental Management Association of Nigeria, United States Naval Institute, National War College, Alumni Association of National Defence College. His work has been in the area of Pollution Control Studies with a specific interest in Fungal Bioremediation of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbon (PAH) Contaminated Environments.
Also have a special interest in Defence Studies especially Maritime Strategy, with the Gulf of Guinea being of particular interest. The importance of Energy Security as it relates to Maritime Security is my primary area of interest.
He lectures various academic courses at both Undergraduate and Post Graduate levels and has multiple publications.
