Prof (Mrs.) BILKISU KABIR USMAN FAROUK holds a Diploma In Insurance, BSC in Business Administration and MBA from Ahmad Bello University Zaria, a postgraduate diploma in education From Usman Danfodio University Sokoto and a PHD Management from Nigerian Defence Academy, she was a supervisor accounting with Doma motors Kaduna and started her lecturing career with the Nigerian Defence Academy in 1998 as an Assistant Lecturer and rose to the rank of lecturer II in 2000 lecture I in 2005 and a senior lecturer in 2013, an associate professor in 2018 and a Professor in 2022. Professor Farouk has been in the services of the Nigerian Defence academy for more than 24years at the economics and management science department in 2019, a management studies department was establish and she become the first pioneer head of department studies in the Nigeria Defence Academy, she is a member of Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) fellow; Institution of Cooperate Administration of Nigeria Member; The Institution of Business and Economic Analysis, Member; Business Ethics Ben-Africa Nigeria Chapter Fellow; The Institute of Business Diplomacy and Financial Management (IBDFM), she practiced in workshops and presented her research outputs in both national and international conferences with published particles in circulation in reputable good impact factor foreign journals she is a Google Schola.
